• Design and installation of turn-key Gland Service Water
    system for GG7 and GG8 mega-plant at Grootegeluk.
  • The plant is comprised of 10 modules running 44 slurry pumps
    in total. Thuthukani’s GSW system is fully integrated and automated,
    complete with PLC and SCADA system for monitoring from the central
    control room.

Medusa Mining: Philsaga

  • Design and drafting of full service shaft hoisting infrastructure including the Headgear, Shaft Collar and Winder house for a new service shaft at the Philsaga Mining Corporation in the Philippines owned by Medusa Mining.
  • The infrastructure components were fully fabricated and tested in South Africa before being disassembled and transported to the Philippines for final installation.

Harmony: Bambanani Mine East Shaft Pillar Removal Project

Design and drafting of infrastructure for 26.5 degree decline including the following:

  • 20 Ton Double Drum Winder
  • 60 Level Main Station
  • 63, 66, 69, 71 level stations
  • 75 Level Shaft bottom spillage arrangements
  • 69 and 71 Level Loading Stations
  • 75 Level Clarifier and Pumping Arrangements

Petra Diamonds: Finsch Mine

Design and drafting of two Crushing systems for ground handling including the following:

  • Two ore passes with two tips on each ore pass per crushing system.
  • Bulkhead and apron feeder under each ore pass per crushing system.
  • Vibrating feeder, crusher and sacrificial conveyor per crushing system.


  • Design and drafting of new conveyor system for existing crusher system.
  • Design and drafting of additional new crusher.

Letseng Diamonds

  • Design and drafting of a bypass conveyor system for the Plant Bucket feeder system.

Petra Diamonds: Cullinan C-Cut Phase 1

Design and drafting of C-Cut Phase 1 ground handling infrastructure including the following:

  • North and South Conveyor systems (6 off).
  • North and South Crusher Systems with tips into ore passes, bulkheads onto apron feeder and crushers and onto conveyors (4 off).

Design and drafting of ground handling system including the following:

  • Tip and ore pass.
  • Crusher with Bulkhead, apron feeder and Vibrating Grizzly feeder
  • Transfer conveyor with bulkhead and Sacrificial Conveyor feeding onto it.
  • Bulkhead and transfer conveyor feeding onto existing system.

Katanga Mining: Kamoto Mine

Feasibility Study of the T17 pit underground infrastructure for Kamoto Mine in the DRC including:

  • Work shops
  • Clarifier and pumping systems
  • Ore handling system
